Our clients had lived in the suspended dwelling for years with the hope of one day acquiring the larger building next door and knocking through. Their idea was to turn two properties into three flats. The work involved to meet the required standards for fire and acoustic values was going to add too much weight to the original floor joists so we had to strip the building back to a shell and starting from the basement up with new floors and walls.

Working with the clients and their architect along the way several changes were made to the layout ensuring the building still complied with Building Regulations. Additional work carried out included fitting new fascia boards and guttering, renovating the facade of the property and renovating and altering of the clients original property once they moved into the main building.

The finished product has made the most out of the available space and the clients are more than happy with the final result.
